Silk Duvet Care Guide
A little care goes a long way.
A high quality silk or cotton duvet cover should be used always.
For babies and young kids, we recommend a soft, lightweight cotton (instead of silk) duvet cover which is gentle to their delicate skin and not too silky that it might slide down their body during the night.
- Silk duvet does not need to be washed. Once in a while leave it in a well ventilated place to release excessive moisture.
- *For small spillage or stains, dampen the area with stain with lukewarm water (30°). Use a damp towel and spot clean the area with white vinegar and baking soda. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water (30°) and line dry in shade.
- Air silk duvet out in a sunny day in shade, 3-4 times a year to remove any residual moisture.
- Store silk duvet in a breathable storage bag, keep in a cool and dry place.
- Do not beat or vacuum seal any silk duvet. This might cause the silk filling to be uneven and lose its fluffiness.
